Kingstonian FC is delighted to announce the re-signing of outstanding midfield player Aaron Lamont, who returns to the K's after a successful season with National League South side Truro City.
Aaron begins his second spell with the K's, having originally signed for the club from Hampton and Richmond Borough at the beginning of the 2016-17 season and made 42 appearances, scoring five times. A change in personal circumstances meant that Aaron had to leave the club for Truro, but another change means he is able to come back.
K's manager Leigh Dynan is a happy man: "I'm delighted to be able to sign Aaron, I watched him closely for the last couple of months of last season and it's a pleasure to be able to work with a player who is obviously of National League South standard."
Aaron said: "Absolutely delighted to sign with Kingstonian and can't wait to get started, I have lots of unfinished business with the club."
K's director Yioryos Vasilaras said: "Firstly, to re-sign a player of the quality of Aaron once again confirms our intentions of challenging strongly for promotion next season - our player recruitment is still not done with for the summer and hope to make more announcements soon.
Secondly, we'd like to thank Truro City for their professionalism in dealing with us over Aaron's move - they previously agreed an improved contract for next season with Aaron and have been good enough to let him join us: as a result of this deal we have agreed a sell-on clause with the White Tigers should Aaron attract attention from higher leagues in the future."
