A Walk Through History

Kingstonian Supporters Club are proud to announce that for a second year running there will be “ A Walk Through History”, which will take place on Saturday 28th March. Last year’s event raised a magnificent £1007; so we are hoping for another bumper collection.

The annual sponsored walk will begin at Richmond Road, move on to the Kingsmeadow Stadium and then finish up at King George's Field;  hopefully before the team's Isthmian Premier Division match against Potters Bar Town.

Proceeds will be split between our Club’s three charity partners: -

-   Kingston Carers Network - for work with Young Carers

-   Mind in Kingston - for Kingstonian Mind United

-   Sparkle Malawi

In addition to the money raised by the sponsored walk, there will also be a bucket collection and the proceeds from that and the day's 50/50 raffle and Golden Goals will be added to what is raised.

Contact supporters@kingstonian.com or visit the club shop from 22 February onwards for sponsorship forms, route maps and to book a place.

You can also download a sponsorship form by clicking here.

K's Supporters Club appoint a Women's Liaison Officer.

The Supporters' Club Committee are delighted that Margaret McCormack has agreed to take on a new role of Women’s Liaison Officer. This seems very timely in the light of the current Surrey FA initiative promoting female-friendly clubs. This should also help support efforts to develop a Kingstonian Mind United women’s team.

Margaret will be working to help promote the right environment to encourage the involvement of women and girls within Kingstonian FC and Kingstonian Supporters' Club, and will also provide a point of contact for women within the Club to make suggestions or discuss how they might be involved.

K's Supporters Club at the Malden Fortnight

Kingstonian Supporters Club, plus two bears, invade New Malden...

Kingstonian Supporters Club again ran a successful stall at the main Malden Fortnight event on Saturday 13 July in Malden High Street. We promoted our “Kids Go Free” scheme and the Family Funday, which will be held this Saturday in conjunction with our friendly against Farnborough FC.  We gave out free Kingstonian Beermats as well as Kingstonian Ted mats and sold various items of Ks merchandising.

Several fans came along to show support before heading off to the friendly at Dorking Wanderers.

The stall was supported by Kingstonian Ted and his little sister Kacey Ks and we also had some little Ks teddies. They attracted a lot of interest from families but also passing community police officers who, for a joke, stopped to be photographed cuffing Ted and Kacey. The Mayoress of RBK also stopped by for a chat and took away a supply of Ks and Ted’s mats for use in the Mayor’s parlour.

Kingstonian Supporters Club - Design Help Please

Ideas for designs for some large flags are requested.

Kingstonian Supporters Club will be purchasing four big flags to be flown at King George's Field during our games. We have some ideas, but we welcome some more designs to include in the planning.

Don't worry if it is a bit vague or simply a sketch - please send your ideas (either descriptions or images) to Johnny McCormack at supporters@kingstonian.com before 15th July 2019 please.

Walk Through History raises over £1,000

This season's Kingstonian Supporters Club Walk Through History has raised over £500 for each of two charities.

Kingstonian Supporters Club are delighted that our “Walk Through History” on Saturday 6th April has raised just over one thousand pounds. The amount raised by the sponsored walk, a bucket collection and Golden Goals tickets actually totalled £1,032.

The walk traced back past Kingstonian’s main grounds over the years. It began at Richmond Road, moved on to  Kingsmeadow and then finished up at King George's Field before the team's Premier Division match against Enfield Town.

Proceeds will be split equally between our two charities Kingston Carers Network and Sparkle Malawi and they will each receive £516. The money raised will fund football sessions at Dinton Fields and Goals in Tolworth for young carers and help Sparkle Malawi support people effected by the recent highly destructive cyclone.

Kingstonian Supporters Club is the Football Club's official association of football supporters with a democratically elected Executive Committee and constitution.

The main objectives of the Supporters Club are to organise coach travel and social events on behalf of its members, and to raise funds for the Football Club to assist in its development and success.

This includes encouraging attendance and strengthening links in the community in order to increase match day revenues.

Kingstonian Supporters Club is one of the few Bostik League Supporters Clubs that consistently provides coach travel to away matches.

The Supporters Club has raised around £40,000 for the Football Club over the past five seasons. This has been achieved through the sales of Golden Goals, 50/50 and Christmas Draw tickets, by hosting social events and by the sponsorship of matches and players' kits, and individuals undertaking the Annual Charity Sponsored Walk.

We also have a supporters representative on the Board of the Football Club and work closely with the directors and management to ensure the success of Kingstonian Football Club.

Membership is available all year round and, as well as discounted away travel and social events, members are also entitled to a 10% discount on all purchases in the club shop.

Thank you for your support, and if we all work together we can achieve great success for this club!

To contact the Supporters Club, please e-mail supporters@kingstonian.com.
