Worthing 3-1 Kingstonian

Worthing

Another disappointing visit to the South Coast as two late goals give the Rebels a victory.

1,320 people saw Worthing defeat the K's 3-1 at the Bibby Financial Stadium in a game that was far closer than the scoreline suggests.

The main difference in this game was being able to take chances, as K's carved out several good ones but were only able to convert one when Elliott Buchanan was awarded the goal in the 41st minute that gave the visitors an equaliser.

Worthing took the lead in the 32nd minute when Callum Kealy flicked the ball home past debutant K's keeper Sam Mason - the Rebels went on to win the game late in the piece with two very similar goals from the right wing, with David Ajoboye giving his side the lead in the 76th minute and then Alex Parsons sealing the deal as the clock ticked past 90 minutes.

K's will now try to dust themselves down and throw themselves back into cup football when they visit Camberley Town in the Preliminary Round of the Surrey Senior Cup on Tuesday night, kick-off at Krooner Park will be 7.45pm.
