Wingate and Finchley 1-1 Kingstonian

Frustration for K's as they are unable to break down 10-man Wingate and Finchley and are forced to settle for a point.
Kingstonian drew their second game of the season in an incident-filled match at the Maurice Rebak Stadium in Finchley.
The hosts took the lead in the third minute when Tommy Tejan-Sie's 20 yard blast exploded into the net for a memorable opening goal, but the game turned on its head when Ahmet Rifat, booked only minutes earlier, received a second yellow card in the 17th minute, putting his team down to ten men.
Kingstonian then had the vast majority of possession for the rest of the game, but, whilst creating some good chances, were held at arm's length for long periods by a very well-organised Wingate and Finchley defence. K's equaliser came in the 47th minute when Sean Cronin's back header to his goalkeeper Shane Gore somehow evaded the hosts' number one, hit the post and crossed the line.
K's pushed for a winner, Louie Theophanous hit the bar and in the dying seconds Dan Thompson's shot from close range was brilliantly saved by the opposition goalkeeper.
So, a frustrating draw for the K's, but there's no time to dwell on it as they have a tough game coming up on Saturday when Margate are the visitors, 3.00pm kick-off.
