Farewell to one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet.
It is with immense sadness that we report the passing on Saturday night of long-time Kingstonian supporter Brian Newman.
A hugely popular character at Kingstonian, Brian wore many hats at the club, including secretary of the Supporters Club until 1999, and was an always-friendly face who expertly and diligently sold golden goal tickets, 50-50 tickets and programmes during his time.
In October 2015 he received Life Membership of the football club and received the same award from the Supporters Club as well.
Brian was not only a gentleman but he was a gentle man who was loved by everyone at Kingstonian that had the immensely good fortune to meet him. Rest in peace, friend.
