Travel issues on the M20 this weekend
It is advised to use the M2 due to a bridge installation in the Ashford area on the M20.
Travel to and from Folkestone Invicta will be affected by engineering works on the M20 where it will be closed between J9 and J11 coastbound from 10pm on Friday night up until 6am on Monday morning. This is due to a new junction, J10a, being built in the Ashford area and a new bridge will be installed there. London-bound, the motorway will be closed between J11 and J10 for the same period of time.
The official diversion from Highways England means that it is advised to use the M2 all the way from the junction with the M25.
