Tonbridge Angels 3-2 Kingstonian

Tonbridge Angels

After a remarkable first half comeback, Kingstonian are unable to take advantage and fall to a defeat.

It was a doubly frustrating afternoon for Kingstonian at the Longmead Stadium as, having fought back well to level the scoring in first half stoppage time, they fell to defeat anyway, missing out on the chance to gain ground on Haringey Boroufh, who also lost today.

After a bright start, K's fall behind in the 10th minute thanks to an Alex Read goal. Joe Turner doubled the lead in the 27th minute with a fine shot from distance and Tonbridge were cruising.

However, in first half injury time K's remarkably free level with a header from Dean Inman and then a thunderbolt from Shaun McAuley.

But K's could not keep up the momentum and Tonbridge claimed all the points when Chinedu McKenzie netted the winner with nineteen minutes remaining.
