Tom Bird returns to the K's

Tom Bird

Back for a third spell with the club, Tom Bird joins Kingstonian from Merstham.

The club is delighted to announce the re-re-signing of left back Tom Bird.

Tom began his career in Chelsea's youth ranks before joining Basingstoke Town in 2007. A year later he moved to Fleet Town, from whom he signed for the K's for the first time in the summer of 2010. Two seasons later he moved to Carshalton Athletic, but his spell at Colston Avenue was short lived and from October 2012 he spent the rest of the campaign with the K's. At the end of the 2012-13 season he left for Hayes and Yeading United, and then played for Metropolitan Police, Basingstoke Town and Gosport Borough before joining Merstham at the beginning of this season.

Tom now starts his third spell with Kingstonian, having already racked up 122 appearances for the club, scoring three times.
