K's chopped down by the Oaks in the FA Cup
Kingstonian's 2022-23 FA Cup run became more of a hobble as they were deservedly beaten by a Sevenoaks Town team at the Bourne Stadium that outworked and outdesired a hoops team that chose FA Cup day for their least effective ninety-plus minutes of the new season.
The curse of the former Kingstonian player struck again as Ryan Gondoh scored fine individual goals in both halves of the contest before Louis Collins got one back in the 89th minute with an exquisite free kick. Ten minutes of added time saw Sevenoaks hold their lead and qualify for Monday's Second Qualifying Round draw.
K's will look to get back on track next Saturday when they visit Canvey Island for a 3pm kick-off.
