Road Closure News for the trip to East Thurrock
Thank you to the Rocks' secretary for sending us this update on a closed road.
If you are travelling by car, there is an important closure on the A13 which means that a diversion is required. Thanks to East Thurrock United's club secretary Mick Ewen for sending us this update:
I have been informed that there are problems on the A13 tomorrow. The road is shut between the Orsett Cock roundabout (both ways) to the Corringham turn off which is the turning you need to get to the ground.
I would suggest therefore you take note of the following directions. If travelling from the M25, take the turning for the A127 (Southend).
Travel along the A127 and take the Dunton turn, which is the turn after the A128.
Turn right at the roundabout once you come off the A127 and then turn right at the first set of lights. Continue along this road until you reach the end of it and then turn right. Follow this road which then becomes the A1014 and you will get to the roundabout which goes over the A13.
Continue along this road and the ground is on the left.
