Raynes Park Vale 4-1 Kingstonian

K's end their cup involvement for the season with a thumping.
Normally, a win by a Combined Counties League over an Isthmian Premier team would be considered a major upset. These are not normal times, however, as a superior Raynes Park Vale side brushed hopelessly-out-of-form Kingstonian aside to advance to the quarter-finals of the Surrey Senior Cup and a visit to Leatherhead.
Vale got the scoring started early and were 2-0 up inside ten minutes, with Jordan Gallagher scoring after six ticks of the clock and Tom Barnes three minutes later. Barnes notched a second goal for himself with two minutes left of a half that Raynes Park Vale utterly dominated.
The second half was mostly more of the same, with the curse of the former K striking once again as Aaron Lamont scored from distance in the 72nd minute. Lee Lewis got a consolation goal for himself with the very last kick of the game. Thus quietly endeth cup football for Kingstonian for the 2022-23 season, with just the one victory in five games in four competitions.
