Lewes 3-0 Kingstonian

Rooks far too good for K's
Another poor afternoon for the K's resulted in a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Lewes and dropped them into the relegation zone.
Rob Tolfrey once again was on top form to keep the score down in a match when K's threatened little going forward.
The K's held out at 0-0 until the 33rd minute when a needless tackle resulted in a penalty that was put away by Joe Taylor. The pain continued in the second half when Ryan Gondoh scored his third long-range goal against the K's this season (having done it twice for Sevenoaks Town in September) in the 67th minute, it can be argued that K's were unlucky because there was more than deflection but the Lewes man was given plenty of time to shoot and deserved his goal. The final goal came in the 82nd minute when another save from Rob Tolfrey saw the ball parried to Will Salmon, who didn't miss with the rebound.
It's cup football again this coming Tuesday when K's visit Raynes Park Vale for a Surrey Senior Cup Second Round tie. Kick-off at Grand Drive is 7.45pm, with the winners visitng Leatherhead in the quarter-finals.
