Former K's midfielder returns as Hayden's assistant manager.

Kingstonian FC is delighted to announce the return of former player Lee O'Leary.

Following discussions throughout the week, Lee has accepted Hayden's offer to join his coaching staff as Assistant Manager.

"I'm delighted to welcome Lee back to Kingstonian," said Hayden. "He has a great affiliation with the club and will be an excellent addition to the Coaching Staff. The Management Team are all doing a great job but we needed to replace Jamie Howell. I looked at a number of really good options and have taken my time to make the right appointment. In Lee, we have a perfect fit and I'm looking forward to working with him."

"In addition to Lee, I'm pleased to add Peter Barkley and Mike Lockhart to the Management Team. In addition to working with Steve Dormer in identifying new players and studying our opponents, Steve, Peter and Mike will become an integral part of our set-up."

Hayden also confirmed that Calvin Ekpiteta and Rhys Murrell-Williamson had left the club.

"I'd like to thank both Calvin and Rhys. Calvin needs regular game time, while Rhys has had a frustrating time recently. Both are good players who will benefit from a fresh challenge. We wish them every success."

The manager also confirmed that Teo Kurtaran has been recalled following a loan spell with Chipstead. "Teo has impressed everyone at High Road. We think the time is right to bring him back into our environment. His performances at Chipstead have been excellent and warrant a return to the Kingstonian squad."

As Hayden looked forward to today's game, he confirmed that the current injury list is slowly improving. "I'm relieved to say the injury to Rob is not as bad as we all feared. He is recovering well and hopes to be available within the next week to ten day days."

"Nyren suffered a setback early in the Horsham game, but having already lost Rob and Jerry, he soldiered on. We are hopeful Nyren will be fit next Saturday."

"Unfortunately, the news with Declan isn't as positive. Although he is making progress, I would have a thought a return to training in around four to five weeks is realistic."

The Kingstonian faithful will be pleased to hear that Elliott Buchanan and Gus Sow have both been confirmed as fit for today's clash with Bowers and Pitsea.

"It's a big game today, we need to return to winning ways," stated the Boss. "We have two big games in the space of three days. if we can achieve two positive results, we will be back in the mix and ready for the run-in."

"The last couple of weeks have been horrible! However, we are not going to allow months of work to be wasted by three bad weeks. We have worked too hard for that. We need to fight to get back on track and that's exactly what we intend to do. The squad trained very well on Thursday. The spirit and energy on the training ground was excellent and everyone in the dressing room is focused on the job in hand."

Kingstonian are at home to Bowers and Pitsea this afternoon, kick-off is 3pm.
