K's Through to First Round of FA Youth Cup

Kingstonian

On a great night of cup football for the club, Stephen Drewett's team win at Alwyns Lane.

Kingstonian's Under 18s completed a fine night of cup football for the hoops - on the same evening that the first team defeated Knaphill 5-1 in the Surrey Senior Cup, the Under 18s have qualified for the First Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup after a wonderful 7-3 victory away to Chertsey Town.

After leading 2-0 at half time, goals flew in from all angles in the second half as the home side scored three times and the Ks added another five. In the end, Lewis Pearch ended up with a hat-trick, with Eddie Gramson, Harvey Salmon, George Liddiard and Gino Ciesco also getting on to the scoresheet.

The lads have been drawn away to either Maidenhead United or Cray Wanderers in the First Round; the Magpies host the Wands on Monday 21st October, with the tie against K's having to be played by Saturday 2nd November.
