K's sign four new players
Jacob Bancroft and Finlay Johnson have already made debuts, we also welcome O'Shane Stewart and Josh Ogunseye.
Kingstonian Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of four new players - two of whom made their debuts last Saturday against Aveley.
Jacob Bancroft is one of those who played against Aveley, and has signed from Hartley Wintney. We'd like to thank manager Ian Selley and secretary Elayne Duddridge in getting this signing over the line. Jacob is a 21 year old forward/winger who began his career with Aldershot Town and made his pro debut for Swindon Town in 2019. A couple of spells at Oxford City and then a short stint at Billericay Town led to him moving to Hartley Wintney in October 2022.
19 year old Finlay Johnson has arrived from Stevenage, where he progressed through their youth system, and last season he had a loan spell with Biggleswade Town before making his Kingstonian debut last week at Aveley.
O'Shane Stewart is a 21 year old midfield player who joined Southend United as a 14 year old and moved to Canvey Island in March 2022, making ten appearances for the Gulls and helping them to promotion to the Isthmian Premier.
Last but not least is 24 year old forward Josh Ogunseye, who has joined the K's from Chatham Town. He joined the Chats at the beginning of this season having scored 38 goals for Farnham Town in the previous campaign.
Kingstonian manager Spencer Knight said about his new signings: "It's no secret that we have been looking to enhance our attacking options. I am delighted to have added four exciting young talents to our squad.
Jacob, Finlay and Josh will bring competition for places to our forward players, and O'Shane gives us another type of midfield player, with great energy and quality.
The long rebuild process is evolving all the time and I hope our supporters will enjoy the pace and ability that these lads will bring to the squad."
Welcome to all the new guys to the club!
