Kingstonian welcome Nigel James to the club.
Nigel joins the management team to run Kingstonian's Under 18s.
Kingstonian Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Nigel James as the Under 18’s Manager.
Stephen Drewett has decided to stand down from managing the under 18s team for the forthcoming season and we thank Stephen for his service for the Club. Stephen will continue to chair Kingstonian Youth.
Nigel, who owns the hugely successful “Nigel James Elite Coaching” Academy, arrives from Hanworth Villa.
Nigel has an outstanding reputation in developing young players, three of which are in our First Team Squad next season; Declan Skura, Teo Kurtaran and Bryant Akono Bilongo.
As many will know, Nigel is the head of a famous football family. His son Reece, played an integral part in Chelsea’s Champions League success, snuffing out Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling in the Final. The European Cup winner added to his portfolio in being named in Gareth Southgate’s England Squad for this month’s Euro’s.
Furthermore, Nigel’s daughter Lauren, has enjoyed an excellent season at Manchester United. Lauren was the first woman to score at Old Trafford!
“I’m absolutely delighted to welcome Nigel,” enthused Hayden. “His record speaks for itself and will play a pivotal role in helping Kingstonian realise our ambitions.”
“In addition to developing the kids, Nigel will also become part of the First Team Management. He is a good friend and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
Nigel will be attending the Zoom Fans Forum on Friday to answer your questions.
