Kingstonian sign Jason Banton

Winger / forward player Banton moves from Cray to the hoops.
Kingstonian Football Club is very pleased to announce the signing of Jason Banton from Cray Wanderers.
A former England U17s international, making four appearances in 2008, Jason began his career after joining Arsenal at the age of seven. He joined Blackburn Rovers in October 2008 and became top scorer for their academy that season. After leaving Ewood Park in 2010, he had a successful trial with Liverpool in early 2011 but was released by the Reds at the end of the season. After his release, he joined Leicester City and made his Football League debut whilst on loan with Burton Albion. He signed for Crystal Palace in 2012 and was loaned out to both Plymouth Argyle and Milton Keynes Dons before joining Plymouth on a permanent basis.
He then signed with Wycombe Wanderers in 2015 and had brief spells with Hartlepool United, Notts County and Crawley Town before joining Woking in 2017. He moved to Torquay United after leaving Kingfield and whilst a Gull had loan periods with St Albans City, Truro City and Dulwich Hamlet. He joined Braintree Town in 2019, to Romford in December that year and then moved to Cray Wanderers at the beginning of last season. With the season ending very early, he went back to Braintree on a dual registration basis.
