Kingstonian sign Harry Osborne
Former Merstham defender signs from Braintree Town.
Kingstonian Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Harry Osborne from Braintree Town.
The former Charlton Athletic and Assyriska FF defender, signs from National South Braintree, having been a regular in their team since the start of the campaign. Nonetheless, Harry will be a very familiar face to his team mates, having played an influential role in Merstham's success last season.
"I'm delighted Harry has joined Kingstonian," said Kingstonian manager Hayden Bird. "We both wanted to complete the deal in June but other factors complicated the transfer. Harry's girlfriend was expecting and the couple were moving to Essex. Earlier this week, I received a call that Harry had returned to the Croydon area, so completing the deal was relatively straight forward."
"Although we have been exceptional defensively in recent weeks, injuries dictated the need to strengthen. Harry is equally as happy at right back as he is centrally, so will be a great addition to our squad."
