Former Tonbridge midfielder signs from Welling United

Kingstonian FC is delighted to announce the signing of midfield player D'sean Theobalds.

The 26 year old midfield player signs from Welling United. His previous clubs include Dartford, Tonbridge Angels and Leatherhead.

"I'm delighted to sign D'sean," enthused manager Hayden Bird. "He has all of the qualities to improve our team. I've admired D'sean since he was at Leatherhead. He was exceptional for Tonbridge Angels, playing an influential role in their promotion to the National South. Believe me, I know!" - (ed: Tonbridge Angels beat Merstham, then managed by Hayden, in the Isthmian League Premier play-off final in 2019.)

"D'sean is one of the players I was hoping to sign in the summer. As soon as he became available, we opened discussions with him. I'm absolutely delighted that he has signed. Signing a player of this quality illustrates our intent to end the season positively and our desire to build a successful team next season. It's an important few weeks ahead of us. We want to achieve our highest league position in years and win the Surrey Senior Cup."

Kingstonian are at home tonight, hosting Bowers and Pitsea at King George's Field, kick-off 7.45pm.
