Kingstonian Mind United update

Originally set to appear in Wednesday's programme, here is an update on Kingstonian and Mind in Kingston.
Our next home game is now against Worthing on 13th October. The match is being sponsored by Kingstonian Supporters Club in order to help raise awareness of mental health support in Kingston and also to help raise the profile of our joint Kingstonian Mind United teams.
Our club now have three Kingstonian Mind United teams registered with the Surrey FA. For 2021-22, we have entered teams into both the Friday "Surrey Community League" and Surrey FA's Sunday "Football for All League" and these play in Kingstonian's famous red and white hoops. These leagues have both just re-started with matches played at the Xcel Centre in Walton-on-Thames.
Pictured below is our team who brought home the first trophy of the season, winning the Surrey FA's "Football for All Tournament" (by the way, beating Sutton United 1-0 en route to the final).
At the Worthing game, Kingstonian Supporters Club will be raising funds for the football project from a bucket collection and the proceeds of the 50/50 raffle. There will also be a Just Giving fundraising campaign, and this will be launched shortly.
Representatives of Mind in Kingston and players from Kingstonian Mind United will be attending the Worthing match as guests of the football club. There will also be a stall with information about their work and local mental health support.
