Kingstonian and Corinthian-Casuals Joint Charity Day

Corinthian-Casuals and Kingstonian

Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness and Kingston Carers Network to benefit from charity collections on Saturday.

You can help light up the shortest day of the year by attending our local Derby match with our friends from Corinthian Casuals FC on 21st December at King George’s Arena. On the day, Corinthian Casuals and Kingstonian will be coming together to support two very worthy local causes. just before Christmas.

Each club has selected a borough-based charity: Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness (KCAH) and Kingston Carers Network (KCN). We are asking anyone who attends to give generously to these. There will be a bucket collection and this will be added to by the proceeds of 50/50 and “Golden Goals” with money collected split evenly.

KCAH are Casuals’ charity partners and do excellent work in providing help to the homeless people in our Borough. KCAH have particularly requested  food and clothing donations. This is the second year of this partnership. If you can please bring item(s) from the following list,  you will receive a mince pie and free entry into a prize draw as a thank you:

- Pot Noodles
- Tea / Coffee / Sugar
- Used men's coats / jackets
- New or clean 'used' sleeping bags but must be in their sleeves
- New or used rucksacks (ideally 60L so a sleeping bag can comfortably fit)
- New men's 'trunks' underwear (Size M or L)
- New socks

Our fundraising will also help support KCN – Kingstonian’s local community partners who are based in Tolworth Broadway. They provide support to more than 3,000 adult carers and over 700 young carers from the Kingston Borough through a wide range of services. Kingstonian hold two Young Carers Days a year at home matches and Kingstonian Youth provide football fun days for young carers. On the day, we are expecting 25 - 30 guests from Kingston Carers Network and their new manager of their young carers project will be running an information project.

After the match, there will be a festive “after party" in the Clubhouse and all are welcome to attend.

You can visit KCAH and KCN’s websites to learn more about the excellent work of the coworker club’s selected local charity partners
