Kingstonian 4-1 Farnborough

Magnificent home side march into Third Round with an outstanding 4-1 win over Farnborough.
Kingstonian will be in tomorrow's Buildbase FA Trophy Third Round draw after a superb 4-1 victory over Southern League Premier South leaders Farnborough.
In arguably the best team performance of the season so far, K's deservedly booked their place in the next round, scoring four goals against a fine Farnborough team. The visitors got off to the quicker start and were more threatening, but soon K's got into their stride and deserved to score the opening goal when Gus Sow scored from close range, unusually not from the spot this time, in the 26th minute.
Jason Banton then doubled the score in the 42nd minute after a wonderful lob from the edge of the area, and then Daniel Ajakaiye got the goal his general play in recent weeks has thoroughly deserved in the 51st minute to give Kingstonian an outstanding 3-0 lead.
Farnborough threatened a comeback in the closing stages and got nerves jittering when Harry Cooksley's header went into the net in the 79th minute, before Rob Tolfrey made a stunning save with eight minutes remaining. K's then managed to regroup and saw the game out under severe pressure from the Boro, with finally Elliott Buchanan scoring yet again in the 92nd minute to put an exclamation mark on a freezing afternoon that warmed the cockles, the mussels, the muscles and the hearts of every Kingstonian supporter.
