Kingstonian 3-4 Worthing

Worthing withstand a second half Kingstonian comeback to win a seven goal thriller.
Worthing moved ahead of Kingstonian in the Premier Division table after an exciting 4-3 victory at King George's Field.
Ollie Pearce was the first half hero as the Mackerel Men opened up a 3-1 lead at half time, with goals in the 19th, 35th and 44th minutes, with K's defender Declan Skura scoring his first Kingstonian goal with a header from a corner to equalise at 1-1 in the 26th minute.
K's manager Hayden Bird made two changes at half time, which did the trick as K's began the second half well on the front foot and were thoroughly deserving of hauling themselves back on level terms when Rhys Murrell-Williamson scored in the 48th minute and then Bryant Akono Bilongo got on to the end of Kershaney Samuels' free-kick to head the equaliser in the 67th minute. However, having battled back to equal terms, the K's will be disappointed with Worthing's winning goal when Jesse Starkey's 75th minute free-kick from the sideline evaded everyone and nestled in the far corner of the net.
Kingstonian will be a bit downcast at having lost this match, but they showed for the most part that they can hang with the best teams in the division and will hope to take the positives from this game and produce a good performance on Sunday when Cheshunt are the visitors to King George's Field for a 3pm kick-off.
