Kingstonian 3-3 Margate

A clinic by two number nines, six goals, and one point each for Kingstonian and Margate.
Hat-tricks for Kingstonian's Louie Theophanous and Margate's Kudus Oyenuga meant that both teams finished the afternoon having drawn all three games so far this season.
Margate started the game faster, and deserved to lead when Oyenuga's header in the 17th minute gave the visitors the lead. The game then exploded into life with four minutes left in the first half when a calamitous piece of defensive non-communication allowed Theophanous to pass the ball into an empty net. One minute later, in the 42nd minute, Oyenuga restored Margate's advantage, his shot at goal taking a huge deflection and floating over a helpless Rob Tolfrey into the net. K's would go into the half on level terms when Theophanous rifled a shot home from distance in first half stoppage time.
Kingstonian took the lead for the first time in the game as Louie completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute with a stunning free kick from outside the penalty area. But, Oyenuga would complete his own trifecta in the 71st minute, converting a penalty after Jerry Puemo conceded a foul in the area. Fabio Saraiva and Louie Theophanous were then denied late in the game by excellent saves from Jon Miles, ensuring that both teams would remain both winless and unbeaten in these early stages of the 2019-20 campaign.
