Kingstonian 3-2 Bishop's Stortford

Tommy Brewer

Drama at King George's Field as K's take a 2-0 first half lead but are pegged back before Tommy Brewer's 95th minute winner.

Kingstonian dramatically defeated Bishop's Stortford at King George's Field as a 95th minute Tommy Brewer goal gave the K's all the points.

K's played well in the first half and led by two goals at the break - in the 16th minute they opened the scoring when Shaun Lucien made it 1-0 when he scored with a fine run from the left wing and finish. In first half added time a very similar run and finish, but from the right wing by Greg Cundle, doubled the lead.

Bishop's Stortford came back in the second half and achieved parity with Jamie Cureton goals in the 54th and 79th minute and looked likely to claim at least one point before Tommy Brewer intervened deep into stoppage time.

Kingstonian are next in action on Saturday 29th September as they visit Whitehawk for a 3.00pm kick-off.
