Kingstonian 2-2 Wingate and Finchley
K's fight back from two down to draw at Imperial Fields
Kingstonian's first home match at Imperial Fields turned out to be an action-packed one as they fought back from two goals down to draw against Wingate and Finchley.
The game looked to have started disastrously as a clash of bodies in the third minute left Rob Tolfrey down on the ground and looking very sore indeed, but happily he was able to complete the game.
Wingate and Finchley opened the scoring in the 22nd minute through Dylan Kearney before substitute Kavan Cotter blasted a spectacular goal from downtown Mitcham in the 31st minute to double their advantage.
K's needed a goal before the break quite badly and thankfully for the home side it happened in the third minute of first half added time when Ben Goode couldn't handle Kieron Cadogan's close range shot.
Whatever Lee O'Leary said at half time worked as Kingstonian were on level terms in the 48th minute when Thomas Gogo just beat Gabriel Ajuchi to the ball to score from just outside the six yard box.
Both teams went hammer, tongs and several other implements looking for a winner, but no more goals were forthcoming as the two clubs have to be content with two draws from their first two matches.
