K's survive a tough examination to progress in the FA Cup.
Kingstonian moved into the Second Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup after a hard fought 2-0 win over Walton Casuals.
The Stags arguably had the better of the first half and the opening period of the second half, but K's, largely thanks to Rob Tolfrey, managed to keep them out.
Then, in the 67th minute, the visitors failed to deal with a corner, and Ollie Cook pounced, forcing the ball home from a couple of yards out.
Eight minutes later, K's doubled the lead with a top quality goal - a superb pass by Dan Bennett split the defence, found Louie Theophanous, whose quick finish was clinical.
So, the K's enter the draw for the next round, which will be revealed tomorrow lunchtime.
