Kingstonian 2-0 Folkestone Invicta

Kieron Cadogan

Corey Parchment and Kieron Cadogan on target as disciplined K's take all the points.

Kingstonian collected their third win of the season with a disciplined and hard-fought 2-0 win over a Folkestone Invicta team that had plenty of possession but was unable to ground down a determined home team.

Corey Parchment opened the scoring in the 44th minute with a fine free-kick that gave K's the lead at half time, whilst Isaiah Jones came on as substitute, immediately dispossessed a Folkestone player on the right wing before crossing to an onrushing Kieron Cadogan, who finished well in the 74th minute.

Folkestone's Ade Yusuff was sent off in second half added time for an off-the-ball away-from-play incident to complete the visitors' day as Kingstonian moved up to 12th place with this excellent victory.

Next up for the first team is a visit to Canvey Island next Saturday 29th, 3pm kick-off - don't forget that our Under 18s are away to Charlton Athletic at Dartford FC on Wednesday 26th in the FA Youth Cup, kicking-off at 7pm.
