Kingstonian 1-3 Potters Bar Town

Potters Bar Town

Scholars go top with an easy win over the K's.

Kingstonian were beaten at home for the first time this season thanks to a desperately disappointing performance against a Potters Bar Town side that went top of the division.

The Scholars took the lead in the 28th minute with Finlay Titchmarsh's shot from an acute angle, and they deserved to lead at half time but went in level thanks to a cross from the right by Ben Ward-Cochrane that met Tyrese Owen in the box, whose finish was excellent.

Once again K's were somehow not behind after a sluggish first half, but any hopes of any improvement after the break were quickly dashed when Dejon Noel-Williams scored in the 55th minute and then Quentin Monville finished the scoring off in the 75th minute.

Tobi Ogundega summed up the afternoon perfectly in the 92nd minute with an agricultural challenge on Lewis Manor that resulted in the Potters Bar man being helped from the field and the Kingstonian defender received a straight red card.
