Kingstonian 1-2 Hornchurch

Game number 42 sees the Urchins come from behind to claim a win over the K's at Imperial Fields.
Kingstonian's Pitching-In Isthmian League Premier Division season ended this afternoon with defeat at the hands of the runners-up in this season's campaign, Hornchurch.
K's took an early lead in the 7th minute when Tom Collins was adjudged to have been fouled inside the penalty area, with the Kingstonian forward picking himself up to dispatch the penalty.
The Urchins came back to level terms in the 13th minute as a long run from Jamie Mascoll ended with a fine shot that evaded Rob Tolfrey and settled in the back of the net.
The winning goal arrived in the 65th minute when a cross from the left was met by Ade Yusuff and seemingly cleared, but the assistant referee quickly raced to the halfway line, indicating that he judged that the ball went over the goal line. Good job K's were already safe...!
Hornchurch will now host Cray Wanderers on Wednesday evening in what looks like a cracking play-off semi-final tie, whilst K's can have a short rest and begin preparations for the 2023-24 campaign.
