A 90th minute equaliser from Gary Charman ensured that Kingstonian's run of draws would extend to three.
It was looking good for the K's when in the 55th minute Dan Hector lobbed the onrushing George Bentley for an excellent opening goal, but the K's were denied at the last when former K's man Greg Cundle's cross was put into the back of the net by Hornets' team-mate Charman.
K's will be looking to get back into the W column as they host Brightlingsea Regent on Saturday, kicking off at 3.00pm.
