Kingstonian 1-1 Herne Bay

Honours even in exciting contest.

Kingstonian and Herne Bay slugged it out in an end-to-end contest that ultimately earned both team one point apiece.

K's took the lead in the 59th minute when a lob from Imran Kayani was going wide before being retrieved by Keane Anderson, who squared to Alex MacAllister and the K's number ten converted from close range.

Herne Bay earned themselves a draw in the 79th minute with a tremendous long-distance strike from Marcel Barrington that gave Rob Tolfrey no chance. Both teams had ample opportunity to win the game but ultimately they had to settle for the draw.

Kingstonian's next game is against the team directly below them in the division as Bowers and Pitsea visit Imperial Fields for a good old-fashioned six-pointer. Kick-off on Saturday is 3.00pm.
