Kingstonian 1-0 Potters Bar Town

Andre Coker's goal wins an exciting contest against the Scholars
Kingstonian moved back into the top ten of the Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division with a hard fought victory in a highly entertaining game against Potters Bar Town.
The winning goal came in the 49th minute when a superb run and cross from the left wing by Tom Richards found Andre Coker inside the penalty area. The K's forward took his time and fired the ball the home from about fifteen yards out.
The Scholars then ramped up the pressure for much of the second half and did have the ball in the net in the 71st minute but the assistant referee's flag was raised for offside.
K's showed immense character during this game to keep hold of their one goal lead, never more so than after the 81st minute when Tom Kavanagh received a second yellow card and had to leave the field. The home team hung on brilliantly in those last few minutes and were able to celebrate at the final whistle after a match in which all 26 players on show contributed massively to a fun game of football.
