Kingstonian 0-5 Bishop's Stortford

Bishop's Stortford

This hurt.

There have been too many unhappy afternoons this season, and this was possibly Kingstonian's unhappiest as they were comprehensively blown away by a Bishop's Stortford team that barely needed to get out of first gear.

If it wasn't for an inspired performance by goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey, it is scary to work out what the score might have been as the Blues kept up their title challenge with the simplest of 5-0 away victories.

Matthew Johnson got the ball rolling in the 4th minute with the opening goal before Anthony Church beat Donell Thomas to the ball to convert his team's second goal in the 20th minute.

As ordinary as Kingstonian were in the first half, it got palpably worse in the second half as Bishop's Stortford breezed to another three goals, one from Ryan Henshaw in the 59th minute and then penalties by David Olufemi in the 65th and 76th minutes respectively.

Apart from Rob Tolfrey's brilliance throughout the game, there was disappointingly little to be positive about for a Kingstonian supporter.
