Kingstonian 0-3 Haringey Borough

Haringey Borough

K's disappoint as relegation battle gets ever tighter.

Kingstonian's survival chances took a major knock after a disappointing 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Haringey Borough.

An enterprising first half that saw K's create numerous chances yet still turned around one goal down after a worldie of a free kick from Ben Allen in the 15th minute.

The second half was a poor one for the home team as the Boro deservedly tacked on a couple of goals to take all the points, firstly Ben Allen scoring in the 69th minute, followed by a pea-roller of a free-kick in the 78th minute by Harry Phillippou that went through the wall and into the net even before Rob Tolfrey could make any sort of reaction. It was probably the weakest half of football since manager Simon Lane took charge of the hoops, coming at a very bad time of the season indeed.

K's will need to be better next Saturday at Folkestone Invicta, kick-off at the BuildKent Stadium is the usual 3.00pm.
