Kingstonian 0-2 Margate

Two goals in the second half pile more worries on the K's.
Margate gained a vital three points at Imperial Fields with a 2-0 victory over a Kingstonian side who, whilst showing some improvement compared to Saturday, rarely troubled the visiting goalkeeper and deserved another home defeat.
After a dour first half that was extremely goalless, Margate took the lead in the 57th minute thanks to a penalty from Ben Greenhalgh.
Sadly for the home side, very few chances were created by the men in hoops and an equaliser would have been a surprise. A breakaway goal from Nathan Wood in the 85th minute doubled the lead and sealed the result, whilst there was still time for Dwight Pascal to receive a second yellow card.
Before the game, Isthmian League chairman Nick Robinson gave Kingstonian goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey a special award from the league in recognition of his 600th appearance for the K's, the first Kingstonian player ever to reach this landmark.
