Kingstonian 0-2 Bishop's Stortford

There's not really any such thing as a routine win, but this was very close.
Once Darren Foxley took advantage of some poor defending at the set piece in the third minute of this Premier Division fixture, the whereabouts of the three points from this game were very rarely in doubt.
With Bishop's Stortford not having conceded a goal since Alfie Bendle equalised for Corinthian-Casuals on 5th February, the odds were not great that Kingstonian could halt that trend, and, apart from a miss from Daniel Ajakaiye around the hour mark, a poor performance from the home side ensured that this superb record from the Hertfordshire team would be extended.
Darren Foxley neatly topped and tailed the game with a nice finish with three minutes to go as the Blues comfortably saw off the hoops. With Worthing's win giving them the league title, Bishop's Stortford will now look forward confidently to the upcoming play-offs.
Kingstonian now have to pick themselves up for the semi-final of the Surrey Senior Cup, which is now confirmed as kicking-off this Wednesday at 7.45pm against Chertsey Town at King George's Field.
