Kingstonian's run of home victories came to an end this lunchtime as Cray Wanderers claimed a win at Imperial Fields.
Sam Wood's header from a quick counter attack in the 19th minute proved to be the difference between the sides in a game where Kingstonian arguably deserved a little more than what they got.
The game ended sourly for the K's when Corey Parchment was taken to hospital after being stretchered off with a shoulder injury, followed off the field very quickly by Dwight Pascal, who was carried off the field with what looked like an ankle injury.
K's will try to regroup quickly as the next fixture arrives quickly when Lewes visit Imperial Fields on Wednesday night for a 7.45pm kick-off.
