A spirited K's performance but ultimately beaten by superior Millers.
Simon Lane's first game in charge of Kingstonian ultimately ended in defeat at the hands of a good Aveley team but it was a far more positive and spirited performance than in recent weeks by the men in hoops.
George Sykes was the man who scored the winning goal in the 29th minute and went on to miss a 61st minute penalty in an eventful game that saw Aveley keep up their challenge for the Premier Division title, whilst K's move on to a home match at Imperial Fields against Hastings United on Wednesday night.
