Kingstonian 0-0 Bowers and Pitsea
A frustrating afternoon for the K's as Rob Tolfrey keeps a clean sheet in his 500th appearance for the club.
Goalkeepers were the star men this afternoon for both teams as Kingstonian and Bowers & Pitsea battled out a goalless draw at King George's Field.
The first half surprisingly ended without a breakthrough as Kingstonian's Rob Tolfrey and Callum Chafer, Bowers and Pitsea's number one, both made some excellent saves to keep their opponents out.
The second half was a more dour affair as K's enjoyed plenty of possession but lacked enough cutting edge to get past their opponent's well-drilled defence.
Next up for the K's is an FA Cup Second Qualifying Round tie at home to Grays Athletic, kick-off next Sunday 22nd September will be 3.00pm.
