KFC and KSC to sponsor a Young Carers Party / Conference
This special event takes place on 4th February 2023, funds will be raised on 2nd January at our league game against Corinthian-Casuals.
Kingstonian FC and Kingstonian Supporters Club are delighted to be jointly sponsoring a young carers' party / conference organised by Kingston Carers Network. Our community partners' special event will be on Saturday 4th February 2023 at Chessington World of Adventures and is free for young carers from the Royal Borough of Kingston. Funds for this are to be raised through our annual Christmas holidays charity collection, which will be at our home game with Corinthian-Casuals on 2nd January.
Young carers are being advised to book early and RSVP to choices@kingstoncarers.org.uk
There will be live music, goodie bags, food, prizes, a Zoo pass and much more!
The Supporters Club will also be running a stall at the event, advertising upcoming K's activities for young carers. These will include a football fun season at Tolworth Goals during the Easter holidays and Young Carers Days at our home matches against Aveley on 11th February and Horchurch on 22nd April. At each match, we will again have 11 young carer mascots. Transport to the matches for the young carers and their families is to be provided by Anderson Travel.
