Ground share statement
K's to remain at Imperial Fields for the 2023-24 season.
The Club can confirm that it will be playing its home matches at Imperial Fields for the 2023-24 season.
When we advised supporters in December 2021 that we would be sharing with Tooting and Mitcham for the 2022-23 season, we also stated that the agreement was “with an option to continue year on year until Kingstonian are able to return to the Royal Borough of Kingston”.
During last season we had confidential conversations with a number of clubs, both within and in close proximity to the Royal Borough, with a view to us sharing their ground, but unfortunately we were unable to find another club willing or able to accommodate us.
This was due either to the club’s pitch already having sufficient usage from their own teams, or the ground not having the requisite grading to stage our home matches, or an inability to be able to accommodate a groundshare in time for the start of the 2023-24 season.
Consequently we exercised our option at TMUFC for the forthcoming season and remain extremely grateful to them for their willingness to enable us to continue to groundshare there.
Going forward, the club will continue to review the situation during the forthcoming season and will advise when there is further news.
