Grays Athletic game on Sunday is off
Our opponents have been removed from the FA Cup for fielding an ineligible player in a previous round.
Kingstonian’s match this Sunday against Grays Athletic in the Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round has unfortunately been cancelled as our opponents have been expelled from the competition for fielding an ineligible player in a previous round.
As a result we will be at home to March Town United in this competition on Wednesday 25th September, 7.45pm kick-off. However, Grays Athletic have a deadline of Monday morning in order to lodge a potential appeal, so we cannot 100% confirm this date as yet.
We will provide further confirmation as and when it is available, but the bottom line for now is that Kingstonian has no first team fixture this weekend. Apologies to all those who have made plans to attend King George's Field on Sunday.
EDIT: Should we be playing March Town United on Wednesday, the kick-off would now be at 8.00pm.
