Goalkeeper updates

Introducing Julian Schwarzer and an update on Rob Tolfrey.
Kingstonian FC is delighted to announce the signing of Fulham Under-23 goalkeeper Julian Schwarzer. Julian joins Kingstonian on loan until the end of the season.
The highly-rated 21-year-old, son of former Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer, arrives at Kingstonian to challenge Serine Sanneh in the absence of the injured Rob Tolfrey.
Following the injury sustained in the early stages of the game at Horsham last month, it has been confirmed that Rob has ruptured his right bicep. Having had surgery on Tuesday, the club is please to announce that Rob is in good spirits and recuperating at home with his family.
"First and foremost, we all feel for Tolfs and will fully support him back to full fitness," said manager Hayden Bird. "Unfortunately, the injury will rule Rob out for the rest of the season, but he is in good spirits and is already looking forward to pre-season."
"Serine is a young goalkeeper with great potential. However, we needed to add competition for the Number One jersey and, without Tolfs, decided to evaluate the options available to us."
"I'd like to thank Vic Bettinelli and Fulham FC for recommending Julian and agreeing to the loan deal. Julian impressed everyone in training on Thursday, and we look forward to seeing him in action tomorrow."
Kingstonian are at home to third-placed Folkestone Invicta tomorrow afternoon at 3.00pm. Following the game, the Supporters Club are hosting a Race Night at 7pm in the clubhouse. Hayden, the staff and the players will all be in attendance.
Hayden has also confirmed that a "Meet the Manager on Zoom" evening will take place on Wednesday 16th March at 7pm. Details of the meeting will be announced next week.
