Fossil Cup 2021
The second edition in memory of Brian Newman will take place at 11am on Sunday 13th June at Colliers Wood United FC.
To celebrate the life of K’s life member Brian Newman (AKA “Fossil”), a “Fossil Cup” challenge match was played. This was last October between members of Kingstonian's 2006 Surrey Senior Cup winning side and our 2009 Isthmian League Division One South championship team.
Now back by popular demand, a Fossil Cup rematch is to take place on Sunday 13th June 11am at Colliers Wood FC. The morning kick off is due to England playing Croatia in the Euros at 2pm. Liam Collins did say we could always ask UEFA to move the England game but Thommo thought this could be a bit tricky, so we are sticking with an eleven o’clock kick off!
The Colliers Wood club house will be open at lunchtime and also in the afternoon until 4pm for watching England in the Euros.
