Folkestone Invicta 2-0 Kingstonian

K's poor run of form continues apace with an ordinary afternoon in Folkestone.
It was another bad afternoon for Kingstonian as they slumped to their third successive league defeat.
In the 11th minute, K's went behind from the penalty spot after Aaron Lamont felled an Invicta forward at the end of a fast break. Ian Draycott stepped up and put the ball into the net with no fuss.
It got worse in the 36th minute when the lead was when by Johan ter Horst, who, with the K's defenders appealing loudly for offside, placed the ball into the net.
The second half saw Kingstonian have much more of the ball but they rarely troubled the Folkestone defence and there was no more scoring, which condemned K's to a defeat that drops them outside the play-off zone and into ninth place.
Next week's home game with Worthing now takes on an even bigger importance as K's seek to rediscover their spark.
