Enfield Town 0-1 Kingstonian
K's produce an enormous shift to gain a hugely important win
Kingstonian won their first away game in a competitive fixture since March 2022 with an incredible 1-0 victory over Enfield Town at Donkey Lane.
Great Evans' 24th minute free-kick was the difference between the two teams in an extraordinary match in which the K's players worked their socks off in the first half, put new pairs on during the half time break and worked the new set off in a manic second half.
K's did ride their luck in that second half with the post and the cross bar being the visitors' friends on at least three occasions, but otherwise Kingstonian defended like mad men, all whilst looking troublesome on the odd occasion that they were able to go forward.
For workrate, determination and desire alone, this was a fantastic morale boosting result for the football club, hopefully one that can be built positively on.
