K's forward is recalled from his loan, plus a general update from Hayden.

Kingstonian Football Club is delighted to announce the return of fans' favourite forward Elliott Buchanan.

Having enjoyed a successful spell with Farnborough, the striker returns having scored five goals in six games for the Southern League Premier South leaders.

"We are pleased to welcome Elliott back," said manager Hayden Bird. "In recalling him, I'd like to thank Spencer and Farnborough for their understanding. Elliott will go straight into the squad on Wednesday night for our game with Horsham."

The manager also confirmed the situation with Rob Tolfrey and provided an update on the current injury list.

"We have appealed the decision to dismiss Rob and submitted video evidence to support our case. It was such a shame. Saturday was teed up to be a really good game with two excellent teams going toe-to-toe. Rob's dismissal changed that within the first five minutes."

Another player who limped off was defender Ollie Cook. "Yes, Ollie compounded the decision and suffered a calf injury. He will not be fit to play on Wednesday."

"Since Saturday, we have looked at a number of options. Elliott was the first player through the door and we can expect at least one more imminently. Young Mason [Whitnell] was thrown in at the deep end this weekend, as was Jerry [Puemo] who wasn't fit. Mason is a young player with a bright future. Everyone in the dressing room believes in him and his potential to play at this level. However, it's important that we manage his development and he will return to his loan club this week. Irrespective of the decision from the FA, Saturday showed the importance of signing another senior goalkeeper to ensure that we don't find ourselves in similar difficulties to Saturday again."
