Kingstonian equalled their all-time biggest FA Trophy victory this afternoon when they defeated hosts East Thurrock United
K's got off to a fine start when they took the lead in the 10th minute thanks to Daniel Ajakaiye. Daniel then doubled the lead in the 39th minute with a fine lob to give the visitors a 2-0 half time lead.
Things got even better and quickly in the second half when a Nyren Clunis cross from the right was excellently put away by Elliott Buchanan, scoring his second goal in two games since his return from Farnborough. Gus Sow scored two penalties, in the 66th and 70th minutes before substitute Rhys Murrell-Williamson blasted the hoops' sixth goal in the 82nd minute. There was even time in the 87th minute for Rob Tolfrey to save a penalty to preserve the clean sheet as K's moved into the First Round of the FA Trophy with a most worthy team performance.
The draw for the First Round takes place around lunchtime on Monday, the result of said draw will be published on this website as soon as possible.
