Dorking Wanderers 7-1 Kingstonian

Dorking Wanderers

K's ship the most goals in a league game since 1994.

Kingstonian today suffered their heaviest defeat since a 0-6 defeat at Billericay Town in September 2011, as Dorking Wanderers crushed them by seven goals to one at Meadowbank.

The League Leaders started early and scored often throughout the game - at half time they were two goals to the good, as Sami el-Abd in the 17th minute and then Lewis Taylor in the 29th minute put their side in control.

Dorking Wanderers thoroughly controlled the second half and continued to hit the back of the net. Tom Richards got his first of two goals in the 54th minute before Jason Prior scored his team's fourth in the 67th minute. Dean Inman put K's on the scoresheet in the 77th minute, but any thought of a win using the old "last goal wins" rule flew out of the window quickly when Tom Richards doubled his own tally in the 79th minute.

The pain for the K's continued unabated in the last few minutes when a sixth goal in the 81st minute from James McShane and an added time seventh goal from Tom Tolfrey completed the torture as Kingstonian conceded the most goals in a league game since an 8-3 defeat at St Albans City in December 1994.
